Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Jammul (jammul.com) is operated by DRTUNING, LLC, a company registered in the United States ("we"). We decide how the personal data described here is used and are responsible for it. This policy is written to meet the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Contact: support@jammul.com.

2. Data we collect

About the parent: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash by our login provider), the date you gave consent, and your subscription status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

About each child: first name, age, an avatar you choose, the English level setting, and a picture-PIN stored only as a one-way hash.

While your child learns: the text of conversations with the tutor, short lesson summaries, words learned, mistakes to practise, small things your child shares that help personalise lessons (for example a favourite animal), game results and lesson length.

If you contact us: your name, email and message.

For security: technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, used to protect the service and limit abuse.

3. Your child's voice

Voice is streamed live to our voice-AI provider so the tutor can understand and answer. We do not record or store audio.

4. How we use data

To run lessons and adapt them to your child, to remember what your child has learned, to show you progress and summaries, to keep lessons safe, to handle billing and support, and to protect and improve the service. We do not sell personal data, and we never show ads.

5. Safety review

After each lesson an automated review may flag a conversation for a possible safety concern. Authorised members of our team can then read the text of that lesson, only to check it and act if needed.

6. Service providers

We rely on these providers to run Jammul: OpenAI (speech recognition, the AI tutor and lesson summaries), ElevenLabs (tutor voices), Supabase (database and login), Stripe (payments), Resend (account emails) and our hosting server. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Some of these providers process data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including in the United States, under the safeguards the PDPL requires.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. On our public pages only — never in your child's area — we use Google Tag Manager for analytics, and only after you accept in the cookie banner. You can say no and the site works the same.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your account and your children's data while your account is active. Deleting a child from your dashboard deletes their profile, progress and conversation text. To delete your whole account, email us and we will delete it, keeping only what the law requires (for example payment records for tax).

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data and your child's, ask for a copy, and withdraw your consent at any time — from the parent dashboard or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent stops your child's use of the tutor.

10. Children

Jammul is for children using it with a parent's permission. Only an adult who consents as the child's parent or guardian can create an account and add a child.

11. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and picture-PINs are stored only as hashes, and access to personal data is limited to authorised team members who need it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make an important change we will update this page and tell you by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect.
