Safety & privacy

We built Jammul as if for our own children.

🎙️

No voice recordings

Your child’s voice is processed live during the lesson only; no audio is ever stored.

🙈

Minimal data

We only need your child’s first name and age. No photos, no location, no phone number.

🚫

Off-limits topics

The tutor never discusses religion, politics, or anything scary or inappropriate, and gently returns to the lesson.

🆘

If a child says they’re scared

The tutor reassures them and tells them to go to Mama or Baba right away.

👨‍👩‍👧

Parents are in control

Parental consent is required, a dashboard shows progress, and child data can be deleted in one tap.

🔒

Protected access

The grown-ups area is behind a question, and each child enters with a secret picture-PIN.

How it works behind the scenes

Your child's voice

During a lesson your child's voice is streamed over an encrypted connection to our voice-AI provider so the tutor can understand and answer in real time. We do not record or store any audio.

What we keep, and why

We keep the text of each conversation, a short lesson summary for you, the words your child has learned and their game results. That is how the tutor remembers your child and how you follow their progress. Deleting a child from your dashboard deletes all of this.

Guardrails in every lesson

Every friend follows the same house rules: no religion, politics, or anything scary or inappropriate, and a gentle return to the lesson. If a child says they are scared or hurt, the tutor reassures them and tells them to go to Mama or Baba right away.

A human checks flagged lessons

After each lesson an AI review looks for anything concerning. If a lesson is flagged, an authorised member of our team reads its text to check it — and only for that purpose.

You stay in control

An adult must consent before a child can use Jammul. The grown-ups' area is behind a parental question, each child signs in with a picture-PIN, you set daily minutes through your plan, and you can delete a child's data at any time.

Your rights under Saudi law

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data and your child's. Email support@jammul.com and we will help.
